October 5th

For lunch yesterday, we had free food from Johnny Carino's. I had a piece of the chicken parm, and a piece of a meatball. I also had spagetti and bow-ties in a primevera sauce (I think). I topped it off with a large portion of salad, and italian dressing. I had a chocolate craving, so I had a fun-size Twix (80).

For dinner, I had a serving and a half of mashed potatoes (330) and a piece of fried chicken (235). Then for dessert, a small slither of Paula's pie (200).

I had the usual breakfast (150) and c2 (70). For Dinner, I am making Paula's spagetti pie, so I will be only eating a Smart One's meal for lunch.

October 4th

Last nite, I had my three slices of pizza (390). I tried to pick the three smallest ones, too! I also had a 1/2 cup of OJ (70). My total for yesterday was 1,345. GREAT DAY!

The day starts out the same, 220 so far. But Johnny Carino's is bringing in free lunch today. This will be a challenge!

October 3rd

Yesterday, in addition to my cereal and mid-morning soda (220), I also had a small cup of applesauce (50). For lunch, I had to eat quick, so I hit the BK for a whopper jr. (430) and Onion Rings (180). The total so far was 880, leaving 920 for dinner. I had leftover sloppie joes (the bun = 130), and a small sliver of Paula's Pie. It is so sweet, I can't eat much more, but that's probably a good thing. I guess the sloppy joes were 300 and the pie 200, so that was around 650 (maybe a little more for dinner).

Today is more of the same with cereal (150) and C2 soda (70).

Thanks to my pal Eric for bringing me the Chik-Fil-A kids meal for lunch. I had 6 nuggets (200) and sauce (25) and fries (270). He also brought me a lemonade, which I normally wouldn't have, but he said it came with it. Okay. The site lists the small lemonade at 170, but I think this was smaller than the regular small. Well, my total for lunch was 665. Add that to breakfast, I have a total of 885 calories today.

That leaves me with 915 calories for dinner. Did you know that Dominoes Philly Cheese pizza is only 130 calories a slice? WOW!! Almost seems too good to be true. 3 pieces would only be 390 calories, so I would be way under for the day. The challenge is...Only eating 3 pieces!

October 2nd

Whew!!! What a weekend. I've tried my best, but sometimes, the temptations are too big. I didn't lose any weight this week. If anything, I gained 1/2 a lb. BOO!!! But in the grand scheme of things, I guess it could've been alot worse.

Let's start where we left off, on Thursday. I'm not going to bother with calorie counts. It would be futile, because most stuff was not commercially available. Thursday nite I went to Burrito Bros. I had a beef and bean taco. And about the chips and queso. The queso they give you is huge!!! I barely ate 1/3 of it.

Then Friday, I skipped breakfast. Not intentionally. I was going to stop by McD's for an Egg McMuffin and a coke. But traffic told me otherwise. I went to a seminar at the Hilton where there was GASP no breakfast. By 9:30 I was starving. I had a 100 calorie Nestle crunch stick and 3/4 of a bottle of coke (about 200 calories). Okay, a 300 calorie morning is not too bad, right! WRONG!!! Then came lunch....

A buffet with lots of salad options. I filled my plate 1/2 with lettuce, sprouts, mushrooms, tabboluh (sp), some pasta salad with sweet potatoes, and a dab of honey mustard dressing. And some baby asparagus. I also took a couple bites of a sandwich wrap. But wait! There's more!!! A yummy main course of shrimp and scallops in a cream sauce. Oh, but I love shrimp!!! It is a weakness!!! Oh, and the crap bisque! Oh my gosh, was this good. It was all I could do to keep to half a cup of it! For dessert, a dab of vanilla pudding and some fruit. So, the day is ruined. ACK!!!

I tried not to eat much dinner. The leftover queso was calling me, so I took a few bites. And about 1/2 a piece of pizza that DH ordered (maybe 2/3's).

Saturday, I started with the usual waffles and OJ. I was able to go to the store and stock up on milk and veggies. For lunch, I had 1/2 a tray of sushi (230). and some fruit. I think I also ate some grapes during the UF game. But then, DH made Touchdown Taco Dip. and some fried shrimp. The Taco Dip was good. A serving of chips was 110 calories, but I don't know about the dip. I"m sure I ate too much. A serving of shrimp is 300 calories. I'm not even sure I ate that much, they weren't very good, and I peeled the coating off almost half of them. I think I had some salad with Asian dressing too (120). So, Saturday wasn't too bad, but not too good. I did work out and clean house, though.

Sunday, I worked out again and mopped the floor. For breakfast, I had a scrambled egg (70), a piece of sausage (110) and oj (120). For lunch, I had the rest of my sushi (220), some more taco dip, and some grapes. I also had a chocolate craving, so had 2 oreos (115).

Dinner was homemade. I had my salad and dressing (120), and some homemade Bacon Sloppy Joes. Oh, those are good. And I made a Buttermilk Cream Pie that I saw in Paula's magazine. AH, yum!!! I splurged on the pie, but I kept it to a small piece. It was so sweet and rich!!!! I had to have a glass of milk to go with it.

So, here it is another Monday. I'm up to 184 1/2 lbs. I'm aiming to get back down (aiming for 2 lbs plus!) this week. I had cereal (special k 150) this morning, and I'm going to grab a C2 (70). I"m not a fan of C2, but I'm getting used to it. SIGH! I really need it this week.

September 28th

Hey, I didn't do too bad yesterday. For dinner I had two biscuits (380), with butter and jelly (150). And a small piece of bacon (70). My total for yesterday: 1,757. Whew!! Just barely made it.

Today will be the same as the last few days: I had another waffle and oj breakfast. (370). I'm gonna try to drink some C2 this morning (70) and save some calories. And eat my banana.

I will be glad to go to the store and get some milk, tomorrow. I am really wasting calories on this breakfast.

For lunch I had Lean Cuisine (240), half a banana (50), more Smarties (10). Total so far today: 740, Left: 1,060.

September 27th

With my McD's dinner (Big Mac 560 & Small Fries 250) , I had a calorie total of 1,650 I also had some more fruit before bedtime, and add in about 10 calories for the Smarties, I still believe I made under my goal of 1,800 calories.

I'm still having some hunger issues, (hince the Smarties), but I think I am starting to get a handle on it. I'm including a lot more fruit into my meals.

Today might be difficult. There is a webcast, so we are ordering lunch in. I'm thinking about sticking to just California Rolls for lunch. I'm not sure of the calorie content of sushi, but I'm thinking it can't be too bad, and at least I am getting fresh fish, which is good for you.

I'm having a pretty typical day with Waffles & OJ (370) and C2 Coke (70). A banana (100).

Lunch was not too good. Chinese food today. I guesstimated the calories of the Egg Roll (300), Chicken in Garlilc Sauce (225) and Fried Rice (92). I typically eat 1/2 to 1/3 of the chicken and even less of the fried rice. But my total so far is pretty high: 1157, which leaves me only 643 for the rest of the day. That isn't overly bad, but I have a feeling, I will be reaching for sweets in an hour or so.

Sept 26th

Well, I went over yesterday. Had a can of Spagetti-o's (540) and some cheese (110). I was STARVING yesterday afternoon. I should've had my banana. But I didn't darn it. So, the total right there is... 1,870. PLUS I had fruit. A couple of pieces of watermelon. Then, I had some of the fruit smoothie fruit I got from Publix. I thought, hey, pineapples, strawberries, oranges, this is pretty good. Then I read the label. Packed with water and sugar. Sugar!!! Sugar?!?!?! Why the heck would you put sugar in it? Well, won't be buying that again. Sigh!

I had another waffle and oj breakfast. (370). I'm gonna try to drink some C2 this morning (70) and save some calories. And eat my banana.

I've been so hungry since Friday. I'm really starting to get weak. I even feel my stomach starting to growl now, even though I had a big breakfast. I don't get it. I just need to eat more frequently I think, and we'll see how it goes.

For lunch, I had Lean Cuisine, and I"m going to have a miniture Reese's cup for a total of 300 calories. My total so far is 740, leaving me 1060 for dinner. We'll see if I can make it without anything else, but I may have a snack later.
